Cylinders Types
Spring Return Cylinder
A spring return hydraulic cylinder is single-acting, with a built-in spring that compresses during the application of force and expands during the return stroke.
Square Body Cylinder
Square body hydraulic cylinders use square-section pipes instead of the usual circular housing. They offer strength, simplicity, and are commonly employed in hydraulic press machines for both single and double-acting applications.
Double-acting cylinders
These cylinders have two hydraulic ports and can be extended and retracted using hydraulic pressure in either direction.
Single-acting cylinders
These cylinders have a single hydraulic port and rely on an external force, such as gravity or a spring, to return the piston to its original position.
Welded body cylinders
These cylinders are similar to tie-rod cylinders, but instead of being held together by tie-rods, the barrel and end caps are welded together. Welded body cylinders are generally stronger and more durable than tie-rod cylinders.
Tie-rod cylinders
These cylinders are the most common type of hydraulic cylinder and consist of a cylindrical barrel with a piston rod that moves in and out of the barrel. The barrel is held together by several tie-rods that provide structural support.
